Loughborough, June 01, 2026 – Carelight today announced the appointment of Niels Hesselholt as Chief Commercial Officer and to its Board of Directors, reinforcing the company’s leadership as it enters a significant phase of product development, clinical validation and commercial growth.
Niels brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in the medical device and diagnostics industry, with a strong track record spanning new product development, product management, business development, and mergers and acquisitions.
He has held senior roles at Radiometer and Danaher, two globally recognised leaders in medical technology and diagnostics, where he played a key role in driving global market expansion, shaping portfolio strategy, and leading acquisition initiatives.
His expertise sits at the intersection of clinical insight, technology innovation, and commercial execution – making him a strong addition to Carelight as the company accelerates development of its next-generation Weartech portfolio, powered by its proprietary OPM (Opto Physiological Monitoring) technology.
