New generation patient monitoring

The wearable future of patient health

Carelight’s Weartech devices powered by OPM, deliver AI-driven, clinical-grade insights with accuracy, inclusivity and real-world reliability.

What is OPM ?

OPM is Carelight’s proven Opto Physiological Monitoring technology – the foundation of our Weartech devices for managing and preventing acute and chronic disease.

It’s a new approach to optical sensing technology that overcomes the biggest limitation of pulse oximetry, the hospital-standard way of measuring oxygen in the blood. Traditional sensors often fail on darker skin tones or when patients move.

OPM captures clearer signals in real-world conditions, delivering accurate monitoring across every patient, in motion and at rest. This breakthrough makes medical grade monitoring possible anywhere, from hospital to home.

[ Key advantages ]

Opto-Physiological Monitoring

OPM combines five core innovations that make accurate, inclusive monitoring possible in real-world conditions. From advanced optical sensing to AI-driven adaptability, each element works together to deliver medical-grade insight for every patient, from hospital to home.

[ 1.0 ]

3D optical system

Our multi-wavelength sensor deliver an even light field through a volume of tissue, supporting more consistent signals at the source.

[ 2.0 ]

Tissue-aware light modelling

Advanced modelling accounts for skin tone, tissue depth and individual differences, delivering accuracy across all patients, in every skin tone.

[ 3.0 ]

AI-powered adaptive Illumination

Machine learning fine-tunes light in real time, ensuring reliable readings in the most challenging conditions.

[ 4.0 ]

Motion-robust readings

Accurate results that hold steady during everyday movement, not just in controlled, lab-perfect settings.

[ 5.0 ]

High-definition pulsatile wave

By capturing the fine features in the pulsatile signal, OPM, enhanced with AI-driven analysis, unlocks insights into a wide range of cardiac conditions that smartwatches and consumer wearables can’t match.

From hospital to home – and beyond

Carelight’s Weartech devices, powered by OPM technology, support patients every step of the way with continuous, AI-enhanced clinical grade insights that work in real life.

Hospital

Precise monitoring when every second counts.

Recovery

Trusted tracking to support safe, confident recovery.

Home
